6 Quick-Fix exercises for Brides to get a Bikini Body for their Honeymoon

Wedding bells are around the corner and if you are a summer bride, it is time for getting in shape to wear those bikinis as the beaches are singing a honeymoon song all over the world. Getting your body ready for bikini season will take some hard work and dedication, but it does not have to be a torture, if you ask us. So, do you want a sexy, toned bikini body ready for your honeymoon? Get set and prepare yourself to follow this guide and get a bikini body in just four weeks.

We are looking at key areas– arms, legs and thighs, butts, abs and overall body curves, which you will need to focus on to ensure you are a bikini babe in time for post-wedding relaxation. You deserve it, after all a perfect wedding is not easy to pull off!

1. Squatting for a perfect butt

Keep your feet flat on the ground, about shoulder width apart from each other. Never let your knees extend beyond your toes. Bend at your knees as if you are going to sit back in a chair, keeping your heels on the floor. Pull in your abs, and keep your lower back in a neutral position. Lower yourself in a controlled manner, so that your upper legs are parallel to the floor and then slowly rise back up.

Squats are an excellent exercise for training the lower body and core muscles. If done regularly, they help to define thighs and buttocks. BUTT only if you are serious about it!

2. Toned arm exercises

Toned arms are an important aspect for a beach body look. The moves here will definitely turn you into the ‘Incredible Hulk’, but they will get your arms longer, leaner, and ready to bare when the weather warms up. This workout including ones with the weights makes your arms stronger and toned. Best of all, most can be done at home using your own body weight- no need to invest in pricey gadgets or gear!

Trainer tip: To boost your calorie burn and see results faster, march or jump in place for 2 minutes after completing each move .

3. Legs and thighs

Your legs and thighs are an eye-catcher while you are on the beach with your husband. You would not want him to woo about legs of other chicks on the beach, hence this area definitely needs fixing. Training your legs, particularly with multi-joint compound exercises, burns a higher number of calories than easier upper-body moves such as biceps curl or lateral rises. This leads to increased fat loss, which is also partly caused by the release of hormones you get when training legs.

Your leg muscles are so large that this hormonal response can even help you build upper-body. Just because we are a little naughty, we suggest you make your husband jealous as well!

4. Target your abs

Core exercises are a crucial part of any exercise regimen. These exercises strengthen the body, particularly the pelvis, hip, and lower back areas. Some examples of this type of exercise include crunches, reverse crunches, ball crunches, oblique crossing over crunches, air bicycling, plank, butt lifts, back extensions with ball, and many more.

5. Yoga and body toning exercises

These are especially useful for women who want to stay lean. They also improve flexibility, posture, and mood. It helps you become more aware of your body's posture, alignment and patterns of movement. It makes the body more flexible and helps you relax even in the midst of a stress stricken environment.

6. Proper food and water intake

Drinking six to eight glasses of water a day has numerous bikini body benefits. Firstly, it keeps you hydrated and prevents you from snacking. And secondly, it works wonders on your skin, even preventing the dreaded cellulite. Plumped up, hydrated skin is exactly what you need on the beach. So start your day off with berries, whole grains and yogurt and be on your way to a nice, flat belly.

Let us make summer bride = bikini babe! It is still a long way till we start getting married in bikinis (there will be a lot of dropped jaws on the venue after all), but we can certainly enjoy the bikini bodies on honeymoons for now! But, all talk and no play never led to any results, we suggest you get started because ‘summer is coming’.
